Hello, my name is Rick Smith, I am the owner of Smith Design Agency, a professional graphic design service that operates across the UK, Northern Ireland and Ireland. I work from the Ards Peninsula with many locally based clients, the majority of which are based in the capital Belfast.

I specialise in three main areas; Logo Design & Rebranding, Packaging Design and Brochure Design, on the back of these I also offer design for stationery, graphics for your website or online campaign, leaflets, exhibitions and much more. This is a one-stop shop for creative services, I can provide you with everything you need to brand your business professionally, communicate with your audience and grow your business more effectively.

I offer my design services to startups, entrepreneurs and established businesses, working with them to take their branding to the next level. I work with startups because I can work to your budget with no compromise on quality, my billing is based on time, larger businesses will generally spend longer on the design process.

From time to time, a project requires a skill I don’t offer, that’s why I collaborate with specialists in marketing, web development, PR, signage, printing, SEO, social media marketing and media buying. My Design Background

With over 20 years professional graphic design and marketing experience under my belt, I’m able to offer a range of graphic design and advertising services, as well as offering help and guidance to companies and entrepreneurs allowing them to grow their business through high-quality cost-effective design.

I spent 8 years studying at 3 different Universities (Belfast, Wolverhampton, Birmingham) practising Graphic Design and Visual Communication, earning a Degree and Masters Degree in this field.

I started my career in an Advertising Agency as an Art Director in Belfast using my conceptual skills for creative thinking to write TV and Radio campaigns, before moving on to become a Senior Designer in several design practises. The type of clients I worked on included: NI government departments, car brands such as Volkswagen, Kia & Audi, large construction firms and high value retail clients. I’ve worked across Ireland, England and Australia, including as a freelance designer to large advertising agencies.
